We looked at some international trading blocs and organizations based on Ch 12 pages 251-256 of your text, Perspectives on Globalization. We then asked students to do a PMI chart or fishbone(s) to respond to question 2 on page 266. This is asking you to determine whether or not the impact of globalization in Canada has been positive.

We disucussed the American assassiniation of Barack Obama. While he was at the top of a terrorist organization, there are those who question this form of judgemnet/execution.

We are beginning Issue III and the crossword puzzle gets us to think about some basic economic ideas.
Please note that Issue II (2) will end April 29th. All assignments will be due by that day. They will be accepted the following week as Social Studies policy dictates, but zeroes will be entered at that time. Summarry activity. Use http://www.text2mindmap.com/ to create a mind map summary of the effects of imperialism on contemporary society (Ch. 9). This will serve as review for part of your Issue 2 exam.
